I bought my Lexmoto Valencia 125 in June 2012 and decided to give it a few months before I submitted a review.
First of all it was very comfortable and the handlebars were perfectly positioned for riding, I was surprised at the power and acceleration from the 125 engine and how smooth it was to ride.
Unfortunately after a couple of days it developed a petrol leak, with the dealer some 40 miles away it was impossible take the risk of the scooter catching fire so I had it repaired by a local motorbike dealer who allowed me into the workshop to show me how poorly the petrol pipe had been fitted at the factory.
Petrol leak fixed I set off quite happy to be on the road again.
Two weeks later and i started to get a rattling noise from underneath, I could not see a problem but it was loud enough to take back to the local bike dealer. The cushion on the stand had fallen off and the stand was knocking on the bottom of the engine. Temporary repair and I was off again, new cushion ordered from Lexmoto (which i had to pay for) and a two minute job to fit it and off I went.
Time for the first service and because of the warranty I travelled the forty miles to the dealer who found nuts and bolts had fallen off from the rear mud guard and rear light assembly along with having to re-align the front wheel, all done free of charge.
Although the dealer was 40 miles away it was well worth the trip and the scooter did the 80 mile round trip with no effort whatsoever.
Would I buy another Lexmoto Valencia 125 or recommend you buy one, I certainly would.
I have travelled almost 1100 miles since what I would term as getting the teething problem's sorted, I have been on the scooter in torrential rain and wind and travelled distances of up to 60 miles on one journey all without problems and certainly no lack of power, I clean the scooter down every time I travel in the wet and don't have one rust mark on it.
My scooter cost £1150 on the road and at that price I can live with the small problems I encountered in the first few weeks, this scooter is good value for the money.
If you're looking to buy a scooter the Valencia is worth looking at, check for leaks and loose nuts and bolts every week, clean the scooter down after being out in the rain, service regularly and you should have trouble free biking for a long time.
